If you are looking at this web site my guess is that you have a back or neck problem, headaches or perhaps trouble with another part of your body. Pain or physical limitations lead to physical causes of stress and is one of the most common things that people want to modify.

The Jessup Clinic, is the area’s longest established Osteopathic Practice established in 1982 specialising the treatment of neuromuscular and joint disorders that may cause Headache, Neck, Shoulder, Arm, Low Back, Leg or foot pain, Backache or restrictions of movement. We now see a ever increasing number of people presenting with what we call the Information Age Syndrome This is a collection of neuro-muscular-skeletal conditions that are either primarily caused or secondarily contributed to by long periods in static postures bought about as a result of the proliferation of the VDU based workstations and the highly repetitive nature of associated tasks. We also help with those aches and pains caused by the rigor's of everyday life.

You need to make an informed decision.No one can promise to fix your problem, that would be unethical! However, there are some promises we can make.

Osteopathy is available to everyone if you are Self-funding you do not need a doctor's referral to be seen allowing rapid access. Medically insured patients will need to consult their insurer prior to attending for an appointment.

Our Promises to You

We will be honest with you. If we think we can't help you or that you will be better off with another practitioner or specialist We will tell you.

We will keep you informed. to help you understand your problem, what may be causing it, what we can do about it and, more importantly, what you can do about it.

We will not sign you up to a long course of treatment, ask for payment in advance, or try to convince you that you need more treatment than you actually need.

Some people want or need firm work to loosen up tight muscles and joints. we can do this. Some need careful and sensitive work, we can do that too. Basically we work the way you want mixed with what We think you need. We treat many older people that can't have firm manipulation.

We always aim for good, quick results whenever possible with many of our patients having three or four treatments initially.! However often the problem will have been there for a long time and the body will have done its best to compensate, so it may take longer!
