If we think we are uhnable to help you or that you will be better off with another Practitioner or Specialist We will tell you!

We will keep you informed. to help you understand your problem, what may be causing it, what we can do about it and, more importantly, what you can do about it.

We will not sign you up to a long course of treatment, ask for payment in advance, or try to convince you that you need more treatment than you actually need.

Some people want or need firm work to loosen up tight muscles and joints. We can do this. Some people need careful and sensitive work, we can do that too.  we work the way you want mixed with what we think you need. Because we have a diversity of approaches  we can  treat many older people that can not have firm manipulation.

We  always aim for good, quick results whenever possible with many of our patients  having  three or four treatments initially.!

However often the problem will have been there for a long time and the body will have done it's best to compensate,  so it may take a bit longer!                      r

There are now two generations of the Jessup family practicing as Osteopaths within the Clinic making it the area’s longest established Osteopathic Practice founded in 1982 specialising the treatment of musculoskeletal problems which commonly cause Headache, Neck, Shoulder, Arm, Low Back, Leg or foot which is characterised by pain discomfort and all to often disability.

 Our practice delivers a diversity of care and approach’s  including  preventive and maintenance manual medicine incorporating Sports therapies. Our Additional  Aim is to enhance physical well being.

Osteopathy is available to everyone! If you are Self-funding you do not need a doctor's referral to be seen,  this allows rapid access usually within 24-48 hours!  Medically insured patients will need to consult their insurer before attending for an appointment.  GP’s may refer patients to osteopaths at their discretion.

You may need to leave a voicemail if the Receptionist is not available and the Osteopaths are  with patients, but your call will be returned within two hours during normal Clinic hours.

Some of you may be aware that Barbara Shearing left us last November (2011) to concentrate on developing her Cromer and Cotishall practices which have grown considerably over the past two years.

We wish Barbara every success for the future.

Barbara’s Adult patients will be given the option of seeing Carl or Melvin. Unfortunately, we do not have a specialist osteopath experienced in paediatrics at the moment .
